At Workers Wood, we stand behind what we build. We warranty our furniture and wood products to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to items manufactured by Workers Wood and is subject to the terms outlined below.

What This Warranty Covers

Our warranty protects against structural or craftsmanship-related defects that appear during normal indoor residential use. If an issue arises because something wasn’t built correctly or materials failed under normal conditions, we’ll work with you to resolve it.

What Isn’t Covered

Because our work uses natural materials and is often custom-built, some conditions fall outside of warranty coverage. These include:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care

  • Accidents or impact damage

  • Exposure to excessive sunlight, moisture, or extreme environmental conditions

  • Natural movement of wood due to humidity or temperature changes

  • Normal wear from everyday use

  • Chips, scratches, dents, or surface marks after delivery

  • Any alterations or modifications made after purchase

  • Commercial or heavy-use environments unless agreed to in writing

  • Color variation between different pieces or natural inconsistencies in wood

  • Customer-specified non-standard finishes or third-party finishing work

Natural Material Characteristics

Solid wood is a living material, and variation is part of what makes each piece unique. The following are considered normal and not defects:

  • Grain variation, knots, figure, and character marks

  • Small checks, cracks, or open grain that do not affect structural integrity

  • Slight movement, expansion, or contraction over time

  • Minor warping within normal tolerance levels

  • Color change or patina that develops with age or light exposure

  • Texture variation between boards or panels

These characteristics are expected in real wood and are part of its long-term behavior.

How We Handle Warranty Claims

If a covered issue occurs within the warranty period, Workers Wood will determine the best resolution. Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace the affected component or product

  • Offer an alternative solution where repair or replacement is not feasible

If required, the customer may be responsible for transportation or shipping costs associated with returning the item for inspection or repair.

Warranty Limitations
  • This warranty applies only to the original purchaser

  • It is non-transferable

  • It covers only the product itself and not any indirect or consequential damages

  • It replaces any other implied warranties unless otherwise required by law

Maintaining Your Warranty

To remain eligible for coverage, products must:

  • Be used for their intended purpose

  • Be maintained according to care guidance provided

  • Not be altered or modified after purchase

Failure to follow these conditions may void the warranty.

How to Submit a Claim

To start a warranty review, please contact us within the 5 years and provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos showing the concern

We may request further details or an inspection to confirm coverage before determining next steps.
